Our People

Siobhan Cotter-Burgess

Siobhan’s background includes studies that focussed on Politics and Dance (an unusual combination, she admits). After full-time education she started working for a company delivering FSMP (Food for Special Medical Purposes) products, moving from supply chain to project management.

In 2016 she joined Shap’s Board of Trustees and also started her own business — providing Project Management for Arts / Community building development.

Siobhan found that although working for a big private organisation had its challenges she learnt a lot – in particular finding that no matter where you work it’s key to have good communication and create a safe environment where ideas and challenges are welcomed.

Although she is still very passionate and involved in politics and charities — her dancing skills now leave a lot to be desired.
