Pat Reid

Executive Assistant

Pat is the CEO’s Executive Assistant. She has worked in a personal assistant / executive assistant role since 1985 when she joined the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. The building was evacuated on her first day due to a snake being loose on the premises, but this didn’t put her off and she spent 26 fascinating years there. In 2012, following 18 months at Liverpool Archdiocese she joined SHAP. Her first day at SHAP was as equally exciting as that at LSTM – helping to move families into the new Belvidere Family Centre in Liverpool. From that point on she knew working at SHAP was going to be a job like no other.

Her role is varied, demanding and essential to the organisation – she is responsible for central office organisation, key service areas, deadline compliance, and important business critical documents and files.

When Pat is not being a taxi service for her two teenage children, she enjoys binge watching dramas and is currently learning to play the piano. She is afraid of spiders and buttons!
