  11. SHAP has an open access policy on all records and we would hope that all referrals are shared with the young people concerned.
  12. The service offers supported accommodation which provides 24 hour on site support and housing support to individuals living independently. Answers to the following questions are essential to ensure that we offer the service most appropriate to the needs of the applicant. Acknowledging problems will not necessarily result in refusing applications; the better our level of understanding of a young person’s needs from the outset, the greater the likelihood of a success license/ tenancy in the long run.
